In The Spotlight-
The Rev. Brock Baker

We Welcome Brock Baker Mid-August 2008
Brock, currently attending seminary at Wycliffe Hall at the University of Oxford in
Oxford UK, will be ordained as a Deacon at the Cathedral of All Saints in Albany on May
31, 2008. After a six month waiting period as a Deacon, Brock will be ordained as
Priest in late November at St. Eustace.
The choice to become a Priest came to Brock later in life. He is a graduate of Harvard
University with a degree in History and Literature. He has been a successful Editor,
Legal Proofreader, Freelance writer and Journalist for many years in both New York
City and London before deciding to make the transition to clergy. Elizabeth has
worked as a professional business person in the past, but at the present time is a
"stay at home mom" taking care of their beautiful eight year old daughter Annie.
Brock also has an adult daughter who lives and works in England. Her name is Ruby,
and she is 35 years old.
Brock is eager to serve St. Eustace in the years to come. He feels the region is
extremely beautiful. He and Elizabeth are excited for the opportunities Lake Placid
offers their daughter.
Below, see photos from his Ordination Ceremony in Albany, which 30 or so from St.
Eustace attended.
